Sure House roast their own beans using the intriguing air roasting process. They generally specialize in light to medium roasts, and their famous “Woo Blend” pays homage to Wooster with bright, chocolatey notes.

BOO BEAR’S BREW

Boo Bear’s roast their own beans and offer a relaxing, super chill environment in their Wooster location for you to enjoy a brew.
They actually started in an airstream as a mobile coffee shop, and have always aimed to stay local in terms of the ingredients they use and partnering with other shops downtown. Case in point: they recently opened a joint venture with Woo Town bagels so customers can get that uniquely Americana experience of a coffee and bagel!
UNDERGROUNDS CAFÉ & COFFEE HOUSE

A stone’s throw from campus, Underground can help you get your fix of smoothies, espresso drinks, and freshly baked goods. It might be the aesthetic of the shop, but this has a distinctly fall vibe to it (see the picture below!)
TULIPAN PASTRY & COFFEE SHOP

Tulipan is a bakery first and foremost, but they also serve up drip coffee as well as espresso drinks, and feature house concoctions to pair with cakes and sweet treats such as their bourbon caramel cupcake latte!
One of their more interesting creations of late was their Taylor Swift coffee flights. Love to see the creativity!
WHIPPT DALGONA COFFEE

In case you weren’t aware, whipped South Korean style coffee is a pretty big thing these days! These tasty dessert-style coffees are whipped up by founder Nicole and her team in the heart of Wooster.
You can find the shop in the historical building where the H. Freedlander Company used to exist in Wooster; it’s great to see buildings like this rejuvenated with coffee.

Hartzler Dairy have partnered with Heartwood Coffee Roasters, who appear in our guide to the best Cleveland coffee roasters, to create an espresso bar as part of their dairy cafe!
Maybe partner one of their famous ice cream cakes with a seasonal latte, or try an affogato made with fresh espresso AND fresh Hartzler ice cream! This is a bonus spot as it’s not technically a coffee shop but if you’re in the mood for coffee and cake, it’ll probably sort you right out.
